Webinar will be held Nov. 7 to Explain Current OPTN Kidney Allocation Policy Proposal
UNOS is offering a webinar on November 7 to address proposed changes to OPTN kidney allocation policy developed by the OPTN/UNOS Kidney Transplantation Committee. The proposed policy would maintain access to kidney transplantation for all candidates while seeking to improve outcomes for kidney transplant recipients, increase the years recipients may have a functioning transplant and increase utilization of available kidneys.
This webinar will review the proposal, explain how it will impact candidates, and discuss potential changes to current policy to encourage dialogue and address questions within the transplant community.
