Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA) has been named the Non-profit Category winner for the first Better Business Bureau Torch Awards for Ethics to be hosted by BBB Serving North Central Texas, presented in partnership with the Dallas Business Journal. STA is an organ and tissue recovery organization based in Dallas that saves lives by recovering organs and tissue for transplant.
Judges from across multiple industries and representing many different regions of the Metroplex selected STA as the winner of the Non-profit category.
“This is an incredible honor and we are so humbled to learn we were named as the winner of the Non-profit category,” said Patti Niles, CEO and president of STA. “We are wishing the 18 finalists all the best and thank everyone for their support of our mission to save lives.”
Ethics award judges evaluated North Texas organizations based on the integrity and ethics behind their business dealings as demonstrated by their policies, education, business-to-business recommendations, customer reviews and financial track-record, among many other criteria.
Southwest Transplant Alliance will be recognized, along with those who are finalists and winners, at a luncheon on Thursday, September 7th at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.
