WPFL’s 2017 hospital campaign launches this fall; join them

The Workplace Partnership for Life’s (WPFL’s) 2017 National Hospital Organ Donation Campaign is being launched this fall by the Division of Transplantation/Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA/DoT).

In short, the campaign brings together OPOs, eye banks, Donate Life America affiliates, hospitals and hospital associations to implement activities to promote enrollment in state donor registries. (UNOS is a national partner in the campaign.)

HRSA/DoT provides campaign participants webinars, toolkits, turnkey communications pieces and more. The result? Nearly 400,000 new registrations to state donor registries—and the numbers continue to grow.

To help participants get started in the 2017 campaign, HRSA/DoT is holding a “coaching webinar” Wed., Sept. 21, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., ET, which will provide an overview of the hospital campaign goals, best practices and resources.

Then, the campaign will be officially launched Wed., Oct. 19, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., ET, with a webinar that will include brief presentations from two OPO/hospital teams and preview the resources available to campaign participants.

For more information, visit the campaign webpage; you also can sign up to receive news and updates by sending an e-mail to [email protected]

To participate in the webinars, go to https://hrsa.connectsolutions.com/hospital_campaign/ to be connected to the web portion, and dial 1-888-566-1292 and enter participant PIN 7427225 for the audio.
