At a Glance

Based on feedback from the community, the UNOS TransNetSM team has become aware of compatibility issues our users are facing with older tablets and operating systems. For us to continually improve our application we must utilize newer technologies. At times these newer technologies are not fully compatible with everything we have historically supported. See the section below for important details.

Details

Current compatibility:

We are aware that the new Android TransNet application is not compatible with the Android KitKat 4.4 Operating System. We will be ending our support for older devices and older versions of TransNet. If you have a device with this version, or do not know if you do, please follow the instructions below to update to a newer supported operating system (Android Lollipop and Marshmallow and iOS 10.x.). To see a complete list of supported devices/operating systems please see the TransNet page in Transplant Pro.

Note: We are in the process of confirming compatibility with iOS 11. Therefore, please do not upgrade your iPad’s until further notice.

Older devices:

As of January 15, 2018, we will no longer be testing on or supporting the Nexus line of Android tablets. This includes both the Nexus 7” and 10” devices. Please update to another supported device. We recommend the iPad Mini 4’s and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7”.

Older versions of TransNetSM:

As of December 15, 2017, we will no longer be supporting any users on TransNetSM version 5.4.x and older. Please confirm your version of TransNet on the application login page and update to the current version from the corresponding App and Play store as soon as possible.

How to determine/update an Android device operating system:

In order for the new Android application to be operable and run efficiently, all users on Kitkit 4.4 need to update their devices.

Follow these steps to update your Android:

  1. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. Open your Android’s Settings.
  3. Select About device
  4. Confirm Android Version
  5. Then, select Software update.
  6. You’ll be taken to the Software Update page for your device. Follow the on-screen steps.
  7. Once the update is complete, please delete the application and reinstall it. Everything should then work as expected.
