UNOS Transplant Management Forum
Transplant administrators from across the country attend the UNOS Transplant Management Forum year after year, for its educational sessions and networking opportunities. While many of the sessions are geared to transplant administrators, the forum is also an excellent opportunity for clinical and financial coordinators, social workers, OPO executive directors, physicians and surgeons, to enhance their understanding of how a program operates.
The latest resources cover topics in histocompatibility and the UNet system.
Pre-register for this Oct. 26 webinar to learn more about expanded medical urgency statuses for adults and the rationale behind the policy changes.
We will take nominations beginning in September.
The new series covers topics specific to transplant clinical coordinators, including job responsibilities, waitlist management and how to retain staff.
An educational needs assessment highlighted the need for some basic histocompatibility training for a broad spectrum of transplant professionals.
